The second phase of the ground works for World Trade Center is progressing well with the installation of sheet piles around the perimeter of the site.
The 11 meter steel sheets are being driven into the ground and interconnected to provide the stability and “waterproofing” required to undertake the extensive excavation works.
These excavation works are also already underway and work on the pile caps and ground beams will commence in a few weeks. Watch this space!
