StartUp Grind November edition

A year ago in November 2017 Nick Cowan CEO of Gibraltar Stock Exchange announced the launch of the Gibraltar Blockchain Exchange on our stage. In 12 months they have become the GSX Group, GBX with sponsor firms and the Blockchain Innovation Centre launching. He will talk to us about the exponential growth they have experienced this year and some new projects during our Fireside Chat.

Our second guest is James Lasry a Partner and Head of the Funds Team and a member of the FinTech team at Hassans International Law Firm. He deals with funds and financial services law, as well as tax. James is a highly regarded practitioner who has been instrumental in setting up the majority of Gibraltar’s funds, including the first experienced investor fund and the first protected cell company fund. He is Chairman of the Gibraltar Funds and Investments Association.
